Childcare Providers
Note: You must complete the General Training Module before completing this training!
Purpose
To address the specific issues and concerns of child care providers with regard to mandated reporting requirements.
Desired Outcomes
In this module you will learn:
- What to do if you discover evidence of child abuse or neglect
- How to talk to children about suspected abuse
- Special issues related to child abuse reporting in the child care environment
The Child Care module includes vignettes and is self-paced. At the conclusion of the training you will take a final test that requires an 80% or higher score to pass. Upon passing the test you will be able to print out a Certificate of Completion. This certificate is only valid if you have completed the General Training module already.
